Visa Application
All participants must get a VISA to Russia. Please, pay attention to the letter of abstract acceptance is not valid to get a Russian VISA. To apply your documents for Russian VISA a special invitation letter is needed. To obtain this letter, please send to the secretariat by e-mail ([email protected]) a copy of your passport (the page with your PHOTO, SURNAME, NAME, date and place of Birth, PASSPORT NUMBER, DATE OF ISSUE, DATE OF BIRTH) and special form for visa application. If you have problems with filling in the form for visa application please see the example. After preparation of special invitation letter we will send you this letter by ordinary mail and a copy of this letter by e-mail. Moreover, for preparation of special invitation letter it is necessary a confirmation of hotel reservation. The participants who have confirmed their hotel reservation through the company “Favorit” must not send to the secretariat the confirmation. The participants who have not confirmed the hotel reservation through the company “Favorit” must send to the secretariat by e-mail ([email protected]) the confirmation of hotel reservation in Saint-Petersburg. Without these documents (copy of passport, form for visa application and hotel reservation) the invitation letter for VISA application can not be prepared.
Please pay attention to the duration for preparation of invitation letter for citizens of European Union is 5-10 days. The duration for preparation of invitation letter for citizens of other countries is 30-40 days.
PAY ATTENTION to without Russian VISA VISIT TO RUSSIA IS PROHIBITED. The Russian VISA can not be obtained in Russia. You may get a VISA to Russia only in country of your residence.

Abstract Preparation
The abstract should be written in full one (A4) page (margins: left – 3cm; right – 2 cm, up – 2 cm, and down – 2 cm). Please use the template for abstract preparation. Please prepare your abstract using MS WORD 2003 (please not use MS WORD 2007). All text should be written in Times New Roman font.
The title of the abstract should be written in BOLD CAPITAL 12 pt font. The authors should be written in Bold 12 pt font. If there are authors with different affiliation, please use letters to indicate it. Affiliation should be written in Italic 12pt font. If there are several affiliations, please use the letters before title of affiliation and write each affiliation from the new line.
Example: aSaint-Petersburg State University. bMoscow State University.
The e-mail of the author who will present this study during ESOMAT conference should be added at new line after affiliation. Moreover, this author should be underlined in the list of authors. The language of abstract is ENGLISH, please check the text of the abstract. One or two figures or one table may be added into the text of abstract. If it is necessary the list of references may be included in the end of the abstract. Please do not include the acknowledgement into the abstract.
Please be sure that the full length of the abstract including title, authors, affiliation, e-mail, main text and references does not exceed one A4 page (210mm x 297 mm).

Manuscript Preparation
Conference Proceedings will be published in "Materials Science Forum". This journal specializes in the rapid publication of international conference proceedings and stand-alone volumes on topics of current interest. It covers all areas of Materials Science, Solid State Physics and Solid State Chemistry. The periodical is covered by SCOPUS and documented by all major abstract sources. Indexed by Elsevier: SCOPUS www.scopus.com and Ei Compendex (CPX) www.ei.org/. Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA) www.csa.com, Chemical Abstracts (CA) www.cas.org, Google and Google Scholar google.com, ISI (ISTP, CPCI, Web of Science) www.isinet.com, Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) www.iee.org, etc. The periodical is online available in full text via www.scientific.net platform which is one of the leading and largest online databases in Materials Science.
One participant may submit only one manuscript. The manuscript should be written in good English. Please, use template for preparation of your manuscript. The volume of the manuscript for plenary lecturer is 6-7 pages. The volume of the manuscript for oral or poster presenters is 4-5 pages. Please pay attention to the manuscripts with volume less than 4 pages can not be submitted to the Materials Science Forum. Please avoid the colour figures because figures will be reduced to black and white for the print version. Please find the instruction for manuscript preparation into template file.
The submission of the manuscript to the Materials Science Forum though the website www.scientific.net will be available since July 15 to September 9 2012.
